Sirius Manta is an ultra-light and thin 40% wireless customized kit developed based on Sirius’ consistent design style and the characteristics of the low-profile switches.

Inspiration

The keyboard’s overall shape is slender and elongated, and the product is named “Manta” after the manta ray, known for its graceful, wing-like fins that spread out as it glides through the water.

The design features a “[40%+ layout]”, complemented by “[low-profile switches]” and “[DSA keycaps]”, with an overall thickness that can be controlled within 22mm.In the realm of customized keyboard products, it stands out as relatively superior

Symmetric Battery Layout  

To emphasize the design’s slim profile, a symmetrical battery layout is utilized, with the batteries placed on either side without overlapping the inner lining. Combined with the body’s shaping and chamfered design, the product’s form resembles the spread pectoral fins of a manta ray.

 

A switch-style joystick is introduced in the lower right corner, occupying a 1U space to complement the four directional keys, with a certain degree of asymmetric design.

The joystick cap is designed to fit the switch‘s profile, allowing direct use of a wide range of keycap sets available on the market for a cohesive overall look.

Layout

To further enhance versatility, a 1U space has been added to the traditional 12U standard 40% layout to complete the punctuation symbols.

Compatible switches

The V2 PCB uses a dual-compatible low-profile design between Kailh and Gateron, expanding the range of option.
